One celebration of our culture is Pow Wow, held each October, where we honor our rich heritage through traditional prayer, dance, song, and food. Throughout the years, we’ve continually focused on sustaining our culture and identity. The Chukchansi people were an original inhabitant of California. I’m privileged by the opportunity to listen to and work for the people, provide leadership, expand our economic development and employment opportunities, and teach Chukchansi cultural ways with our Tribal community. As Tribal Chairwoman, I’m honored to help improve lives in our Tribal nation as a local and national advocate.
